Due diligence.
You do, 100%. The license only permits labs to use a scrubbed copy of the data for model training, within the scope written into the agreement.
Per license, based on data volume, the amount of metadata, code complexity and how in demand the domain is. For an indicative value, try our estimate form.
Nothing up front. We work on a revenue share, so we're paid from the same license as you and aim to price it as high as the data supports.
It depends on the data type: volume, depth and domain all count, and for code we look for an extensive git history. Two things always apply: the data must be human-made, and you must own the rights to it.
Before anything is licensed, we strip out PII and any other sensitive information. Depending on the license, labs train inside a secure enclave or receive a scrubbed copy, and the data is only used for model training.
Frontier AI labs and researchers across our network, so your data reaches the widest demand and the best price. If there are labs you'd rather not work with, such as competitors, you can exclude them up front.
